Build Details:

This project with be mostly built from the box with a few exceptions. I will be build the versions that is channeled over the frame.

The body has had the trunk lid has been cut out the trunk  can be displayed open or closed.I have added 5 ribs across the top. I will need to add a little material to fill the gaps alone the sides. I have created recessed tail lights and license plate. I will use round Pontiac tail lights from the Revell 32 5-W kit.

I have done a little work on the motor. The kits small block Chevy V8 has excellent detail and
lots of nice ribbed parts. Since the final car will motor exposed I Will give lots of detail. I scratch built the air intake. I want it be exposed above the front grill when the car is finished. I have used and two place tunnel ram and carburetors from the parts box to get the height correct.

1932 Roadster "Stacey David" Hot Rod
by CH

Here is the my 32 Ford built out of the Stacey Davids kit.
More pics and info to follow I should finish it up tonight

Here is the finished model. Gloss black with custom color interior. Aluminum exhaust tips. Also this kit does not come with a grill to body hood support so I put in my own. This kit goes together very well. The one thing that could be changed on this is the front fender supports, they are very small and fine not much to glue to I knock them off several times during my final assembly.

1932 Ford 5-window coupe High boy - Hot Rod

Just recently completed the Revell '32 5-window. This was a fun car to build. They kit is awesome and builds into a great hot rod right from the box and has many optional parts. As always I have a added a few touches of my own. The paint is Testor's Root Beer Metallic sprayed over a gray primer base. Since I wanted a car with late 60's styling this color was prefect. The body decals are the ones supplied with the kit. Wheels are early Halibrands found the in the old Monogram 36 coupe kit. I build the side exhaust from aluminium tubing. I added plug wires, and fuel lines to the motor. The rear coil over springs are made from aluminium wire and the quick change rear end cover is a part I made from resin. Interior has flocking for carpet. I the dash gauge insert and tachometer are scratch built. AH
